• Cleanse, refresh and moisturise. Lots of kissing goes on at weddings and you will want your fair share. And remember that designer stubble, although your wife-to-be may love you for it. This is a once-in-a-lifetime day when only receiving an air-kiss doesn’t seem quite so cool.
• If some of your tattoos, which are usually a pride and joy, are all too obvious in your wedding clothes, arrange for a professional cosmetic make-up artist to masque them for several days across the wedding and honeymoon. It will certainly please your mum-in-law, several aunties and a grandmother or two.
