Eek we do hate the term 'Wedding Video', don't you?! :-)) It conjures up memories of painful viewings of friends and relatives' dodgy wedding vids, watching endless hours of wobbly footage which somehow took all of the magic out of their magical day! At Our Wedding The Movie we try and BOTTLE that magic! In gorgeous, emotional, natural-feeling wedding MOVIES (they're still videos, just much nicer!) - movies which aren't too short and aren't not too long, movies which really capture the loveliness of your special day forever, movies which aren't cheesy, movies you'll want to watch again and again, rather than once every decade! Wedding 24/3/12
Like many couples, we just couldn't decide whether we really wanted a Wedding DVD or not, however we took the plunge and certainly didn't regret it! The unique, modern and professional style of OWTM is clear to see from their website, and the communication with Mark was great from the start so we knew we had made the right decision. On the wedding day itself Mark was exactly as you would want a videographer to be - professional, discreet and approachable. Having just received our final DVD we are absolutely delighted with the results and I'm sure we will watch it again and again. Thank you Mark!!!
one thing me and my new
one thing me and my new husband couldnt agree on was whether to have a videographer for our wedding and after viewing countless samples of the same old cheesy wedding stuff, i decided not to bother, that is untill i came accross our wedding the movie (owtm) it was exactly what i wanted, i mustve watched the wedding samples online a million times that night, and phoned mark straightaway the next morning to book up with him.
on our wedding day, mark was fab, he put us both at ease, and just blended in with our guests, he captured sooooo many moments that me and my husband either missed or couldnt remember from our special day. the video messages at the end of our movie were awesome too!!!!! my family and friends all love my wedding video, cos it is sooo wonderfully unique and that is all thanks to mark at OWTM!!!! also i love being the star of my very own movie!!!
if anyone is debating whether to have a video or not, i will strongly reccomend you do, but not just any old videographer, you need the uniqueness of OWTM, im soooo glad i kept searching and found marks website, cos it was the best decision i made regarding my wedding, well that and marrying my husband, lol!!!!!! :-) xx

Our Wedding The Movie are absolutely fantastic we nearly didn't have a wedding video but after a long search we finally came across OWTM which was so different to any other company we had seen before so contemporary and modern everything we wanted in a video. We are so glad we did find them as we now realise it's such an important part of the day. When we received our video we were over the moon it was so beautifuly shot, personal and really encapsulated our day perfectly. It was so lovely to see all the bits of the day we had missed along with those we had totally forgotten about.
Mark is fantastic he was so helpful, friendly and profesional from start to finish. On the big day itself Mark was totally unobtrusive everyone,ourselves included never even noticed the camera, which is amazing when you see your video as absolutely nothing is missed.
We will be recommending Mark/OWTM to everyone we possibly can, so if you are contemplating booking a videographer stop and book with OWTM/Mark you really won't be disappointed. We are now wedding video converts!

Our Wedding The Movie (OWTM) is AMAZING!!! If you’re planning on getting a videographer for your wedding, I would STRONGLY recommend OWTM.
We got married in August 2011, at first we couldn’t decide whether to get a videographer, but now we realise this is a MUST for a wedding! Memories can fade and although you have brilliant looking pictures, they don’t remind you of the words and emotions.
Booking OWTM was one of the best decisions we made. It was one of the happiest days of our lives and thanks to Mark (from OWTM), we now have a fabulous wedding video so we will never forget how amazing and emotional our day was.
So, why choose Mark / OWTM over the others?
Not only is the price brilliant but, the level of service is outstanding.
Mark was truly a pleasure to deal with which is very important when planning a wedding. He is patient, helpful, talented, hard working and went above and beyond what is expected.
Leading up to and on the big day, Mark helped make the process as simple and easy as possible. I was always able to get in contact with Mark. He made me feel confident that he knew exactly what was needed of him, which was one less thing to worry about on the wedding day.
On the day, everything went smoothly and Mark settled in perfectly. We (including the guests) didn’t notice the camera at all which meant everyone felt relaxed and comfortable.
The end result is amazing. We can’t stop watching the video and I have never seen one like it. Mark captured some amazing, natural moments that I will never forget. It also meant that I (as the bride) got to see things I didn’t get to see on the day as I was too busy getting ready! The way Mark has put cut and placed the clips together is outstanding and the music is superb. It really builds up a story and stirs up so many emotions. No matter how many times we watch it we still well up and wish we could do it all over again.
Even though I’ve got so much more praise for Mark and OWTM I’m going to stop writing now :o)

Like most people on this page, we nearly decided not to have a video as we were really worried about it being intrusive. However, getting the film made by Mark was the best wedding decision we made! There was not a moment during the day where we felt the camera was on us, Mark is totally discreet (to the extent that we were almost concerned that nothing had actually been filmed)!! And then the film arrived and we are totally utterly delighted with every second of the DVD. Mark captured all the key moments and has added to the mix a load of beautiful moments of laughter, affection and emotion including all of our family and friends. The editing alongside the music that we chose for the film is perfect as it builds up the anticipation at the beginning and the romance shines through the rest. He captured the essence of a perfect winter wedding. If in doubt about whether to get a film made on your wedding day, then doubt no more - its a must! And if wondering who to film it - book Mark before its too late!! A complete gentleman to deal with from start to end, who clearly cares greatly about doing an outstanding job for his clients. Can't recommend Mark highly enough.

We were not sure about getting a wedding video but we are now so pleased that we did and that we chose OWTM. Mark was really good to deal with and worked really hard on the day making sure he captured all the little details that we simply didn't get chance to take in on our big day.
The video from OWTM captured it perfectly and our guests who have seen the movie didn't even realsie that there was someone filming the day. The edit was great and the quakity of the final product real is more like a movie.
Would not hesitate to reccomend to anyone.

We are both really pleased with the results of our movie. It manages to capture the whole feel and emotion of the day. The whole production including the music is brilliant.
Our family and friends have all really enjoyed watching it. I wasn’t 100% sold on the fact that we needed to have a video of the day in addition to the photographs but it was definitely one of the best decisions. We shall look forward to watching it for years to come.
Mark was a fly on the wall and our guests didn’t even realise that there was someone filming the day. We would definitely recommend Our Wedding The Movie.

I just wanted to say how
I just wanted to say how wonderful OWTM was and how glad I am that we chose to have them film our wedding.
Mark was a complete star! He worked a very long day non stop making sure he captured everything, whilst in the main going un-noticed during the day which is exactly what the guests need to forget their being filmed and ensure you get loads of great natural shots.
He captured all the little details as well as the happy mood of the day and it was beautiful to watch back and see things we had missed on the day. Although the photos are amazing in their own way, its a totally different experience to actually see people laughing and chatting and Mark was able to catch all of that.
It's lovely to have a 20 minute video we can show to people without worrying they will get bored - as well as having the ceremony and first dance and speeches that we can watch on our own. Its beautifully filmed and something we will watch again and again.
I would highly recommend Mark, he was a pleasure to deal with from the first email through to the delivery of the dvd.

We booked OWTM after hearing
We booked OWTM after hearing about them from a friend. We wanted to capture our day on film so we couls watch it again in the future and also show it to our children one day.
We were sooo pleased with the result. Absolutely amazing. Something to cherish forever.
Mark was absolutely superb on the day....hardly knew he was there for most of it, but somehow he managed to get all the best bits.
I would highly recommend OWTM to anyone who is getting married....DEFINATELY worth the money.

We were nervous about getting
We were nervous about getting photos done at our wedding so you can imagine what we thought about getting a video but everyone kept telling me if they had had one done they loved it and if they hadn't, they wished they had. So after doing a little research and seeing some very 1980's looking video's we were losing the will to live until...OWTM! Ta-da!
From the moment we watched the samples on the website we knew we'd found our videographer. And after speaking to Mark our hearts were set on having a wedding movie. This was a no-brainer, there are so many decisions to make when planning a wedding but this is an easy one.
During the build up Mark was so professional and easy to talk to, on the day he was polite and friendly but blended in so well I think people forgot he was there (no offence Mark!) which makes for a great movie as everyone looks so natural and not staged or uncomfortable (we've all seen those awkward moments!) and the movie itself is AMAZING we went for the cinefilm which suited our venue beautifully. Some of the moments that Mark have captured are truly beautiful such as a father and daughter walking around the gardens, or a group of friends laughing and a grandfather lifting his grandchild into the air, just little moments that we would have missed if not caught on film.
We cannot recommend Mark and OWTM enough...HUGE thanks x

If Carlsberg made wedding videographers....
...They'd probably be something like Mark Locke. He is, without doubt, the best decision we made when planning our wedding. We were actually unsure about having a wedding video at all, perceiving it all to be a bit, well, uncool. Then we came across OWTM.
On the day itself, Mark worked a solid 17 hours, travelling to us in Hampshire and back home to Staffs. He was everywhere but nowhere at the same time when shooting. We never felt like there was an univited guest gatecrashing on our most special moments, more like he was another mate partying with us. After the day, Mark also took the time to get it RIGHT during the editing process, listening to what we wanted with enthusiasm rather than seeing us as being difficult. He even experimented with a brand new style of editing after chatting with us about what we wanted and BOUGHT A NEW CAMERA TO DO IT! The result? We have one of our most prized possessions (after our cat, that is!) that has helped to crystalise the best day of our lives so far. Thank you, Mark!

Just to say how pleased we
Just to say how pleased we are with our Wedding Movie! It couldnt be better and my husband and I really enjoyed watching it after our big day. Somehow Mark managed to capture so many moments in the day that we hadn't seen so it was really exciting to watch.
We were really pleased with the service Mark gave us right from the beginning, answering promptly to all emails and contacts and on the day he was fantastic - he did above and beyond what we were expecting and in a non-intrusive way. We were especially pleased to have video messages - one of the best parts of the video! we have some great messages from all our family and friends with some great memories!
The Wedding Movie we now have is amazing and really captures our day really well! We are over the moon with it and couldn't have asked for anymore. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Mark too!

Using Mark to do our wedding movie was one of the best decisions we made. I said all along I wanted a video but Greg wasn't sure but he absolutely loves it and is so pleased we went ahead.
We love the way we have the whole day broken down into chapters, the movie as a good summary and captures the magic of our day beautifully, which I make all visitors to our house watch!!! We also added on the video messages at the final hour which are absolutely hilarious and still have us in stitches every time we watch them. The whole DVD is just WOW. It makes us laugh and cry at the same time a truly great keepsake and will be even more valuable as we get older. Greg will be able to take it into his old people home and watch it whilst he dribbles in the corner!!
Mark was great, the whole process effortless and smooth and the best bit was our guests didn't know they were being filmed I can honestly say we didn't notice Mark was there yet he captured everything.
A wedding is not a wedding without Our Wedding the Movie it will be your best decision too..

OWTM went the extra mile to make our big day really memorable - not in the 'three-hour-slogathon, death-by-bad-camera-angles' sense, but by taking all the highlights of the day, and editing them together in a way that captures the emotion - and humour - of the day perfectly. Then they set it all to your favourite tracks, and shoot it on super-8 cinefilm to give it a lovely, home-made, retro feel that sets it apart from all its desperately cheesy rivals. Because OWTM can stream your video and movie on a special link on their website, you don't have to get the family round for a grim fast-forward session through the endless drunken uncle speech - just send them the link and hey presto, your memories are shared with all your guests wherever they are. at the click of a mouse! OWTM Review
We booked Mark at Our Wedding The Movie after trawling the internet for days in our search for a good videographer for our wedding!
We chose them because their site seemed different from the others, being that it was down-to-earth as well as highly preofessional.
I emailed with our specific requests and promptly got a friendly reply back form Mark.
On our big day we literally did not notice him as he arrived and settled in without a peep, He didnt seem to mind that our venue was a 3 hour drive away for him either!.....which was just as well as I was a blubbering wreck after a disaster with my flowers!
He was smartly dressed, polite, friendly and even stayed onto do extra guest messages which we had not previously arranged.
The results were fantastic and reduced both my husband and I to tears! He captured all those things that our photographers didnt which made it even more special. It was definately the best decision we made in hiring a videographer...and I would recommend Mark at OWTM in a flash! (...wish I could say the same about our wedding venue, who we are now suing!).

Precious Moments Captured Forever!
I just wanted to say how fabulous the movie is that we received for our wedding from Our Wedding The Movie.
It’s better that photos as peoples expressions, happiness and atmosphere are captured forever on video. We booked Mark from OWTM and at one point I asked if the videographer had turned up as I didn't notice he was there – of course he had, he arrived really early at the church before any guests had arrived! I asked the question as there was no big display of equipment on our day, people were relaxed and happy as they didn't feel they were being filmed as they just didn’t notice – he simply got on with the job and got the most amazing results.
The service and cost are both fabulous and I have been strongly recommending OWTM to all friends and family who are getting married - we watch our film alot as our happiness on that day is captured forever.
Hope you all enjoy your wedding days, it will go in a flash so the movie is a precious keep sake to share with you family forever, you’ll see things that you really would have missed x
